Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how RoadKickers ("we", "us", "our"), operated by AI Sporting Tech Ltd, collects, uses, and protects information when you use the RoadKickers mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you create an account and use the App:

• Account information: your name, email address, phone number, and (where provided) date of birth.
• Profile details: images you upload as a profile picture, and details you choose to add such as position, nationality and playing information.
• Usage information: basic information about how you interact with the App, such as clubs and games you join or create, RSVPs, and content you post.
• Analytics information: which screens you open, your device model, operating system, app version and language, and an approximate location (typically the city or country) derived from your IP address. See Analytics below.
• Payment details for a prize pot: only if you choose to run or join one. See Prize Pot Payment Details below.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account;
• Let you find, join, and organise football with your club and teammates;
• Display your name and profile photo to other players in clubs and games you take part in;
• Send you notifications and communicate with you about your account or the service;
• Maintain the safety, security and functionality of the App.

How We Store and Protect Your Data

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard cloud infrastructure and is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

Analytics

We use PostHog, a product analytics service, to understand how the App is used so we can improve it. PostHog processes this data on our behalf on servers in the European Union.

Through PostHog we collect:

• Which screens you open in the App, and when;
• Your device model, operating system version, app version and language;
• An analytics identifier for your device, linked to your account ID once you sign in;
• An approximate location — typically your city or country — worked out from your IP address at the moment your device contacts the service. This is not taken from your phone's GPS or location services; the App never requests location permission and cannot see your precise location.

We use this to see which features are used, where the App is being adopted, and where it is going wrong. We do not record your screen, your keystrokes, or the content of your messages, and we do not use analytics for advertising or profiling.

Our lawful basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in maintaining and improving the App.

You can turn analytics off at any time. In the App, tap More, then your name and photo, then scroll to Privacy and switch off Share usage analytics. It takes effect immediately on that device — nothing further is sent. If you would also like the analytics data already held about you deleted, email privacy@roadkickers.com and we will remove it.

Prize Pot Payment Details

A Fantasy Premier League mini-league in the App can run a prize pot: members pay an agreed buy-in to one member, the Pot Holder, who pays the total to the winner at the end. This is optional. If you never run or join a pot, none of the information in this section is collected about you.

Money never passes through RoadKickers. We are not a payment service and we do not process, hold or move any funds. Payment happens directly between you and the Pot Holder, by bank transfer or through a payment link, outside the App. We never see or store your card details, and we take no fee.

If you choose to act as a Pot Holder, you enter payment details so that members of your league know where to send their buy-in. We store what you enter:

• The account name, sort code and account number you provide, and/or a payment link to a third-party service of your choosing;
• The buy-in amount you set for the pot.

You provide these details voluntarily and for the express purpose of being shown to the other members of that mini-league, so that they can pay you. They are visible to those members — the App displays them, with a copy button, on the pot screen. They are not shown to anyone outside that league, are never used for any other purpose, and are never shared with advertisers or data brokers. You can change or clear them at any time on the same screen, and clearing them removes them from our systems.

If you take part in a pot as a member, we also record:

• That you have marked yourself as having paid your buy-in, and when;
• The Pot Holder's confirmation that your payment arrived, or that you paid in cash;
• Whether the pot has been paid out, and to whom.

This is a record of who has and has not paid, kept so that the pot can be run fairly. It is a statement about the pot, not a verified financial record, and we cannot confirm whether any payment actually took place.

Payment details are held in a separate, access-restricted part of our database and are transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. They are not readable by other users of the App except through the pot screen described above. They are deleted when you delete your account.

Our lawful basis for processing this information is performance of a contract — providing the prize pot feature you have asked to use. Because these details are financial, please only enter an account you are comfortable sharing with the other members of your league, and never enter anyone else's bank details.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. Certain profile details (such as your name and profile photo) are visible to other players within the clubs and games you join. We may share information with service providers who help us operate the App (such as hosting, authentication, analytics and notification providers), and where required by law.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the email address below. You can also delete your account from within the App, which removes your associated personal information from our active systems. Children's Privacy & Under-18s

The App is intended for players aged 13 and over, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. For players under 18, additional protections apply by default — including private profiles, exclusion from public search, and restrictions on private messaging from adults. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
